Subiaco AFC is pleased to announce the appointment of Basil Lenzo as First Team Coach.
Basil has been involved in coaching Western Australia for over 30 years. Over this time, he has coached at all levels including major success with Perth Soccer Club and Stirling Lions over the years.
“I am delighted to be appointed Head Coach at Subiaco one of Western Australia’s best community based clubs. I believe in what this club is trying to achieve and I am excited to play my part in bringing success to Subiaco. It will be an exciting challenge to coach again some of WA’s most historic and successful clubs whom are also very well supported. I will quickly get to work with my coaching team to assemble a squad of players to once again get Subiaco back in to the NPL.” said Basil.
The full senior coaching team will be finalised and announced shortly.
The club also welcome Dave Hebble as Football Operations whom will work closely with the senior board and head coach in providing operational and administration support on and off the park. For those that know Dave, he has hit the ground running!
Both Basil and Dave contributed a great deal during 2018, and we look forward to the 2019 season under their watch.
